Arrival by airplane
About 60 airlines serve more than 120 destinations in 33 different countries. The airport Stuttgart excels in its short distances. The S-Bahn lines S2 and S3 directly connect the airport with the city centre. A three-day ticket for the regional transportation network VVS you can obtain by presenting your hotel reservation or confirmation of attendance at the tourist information at the Tourist Information Airport Stuttgart on arrivals level, Terminal 3, Monday-Friday 8:00-19:00, Saturday/Sunday/holidays 9:00-12:00 and 13:00-18:00.
Arrival by train
Stuttgart’s main station is accessible by ICE quickly and comfortably from all directions. The route by TGV from Paris via Strasbourg and Karlsruhe is new and transports you in 3 h 40 min to Stuttgart.
Subsequent to your train trip you can travel on by public transport for free – with your long distance ticket booked with BahnCard discount or with your BahnCard 100. With the City-Ticket option you can travel on to your destination within Stuttgart for free by bus, S-Bahn, tramway or underground. This applies for your outward and return journey. Preconditions: You buy a ticket with BahnCard discount and the station of your destination is more than 100 km away and your destination lies within the area of application of City-Tickets. City-Ticket does not cost additionally and is entered onto your DB-Ticket automatically for trips to participating cities.
Arrival by car
Environmental hint:
Through its central location in the inner city, the conference venue “Haus der Wirtschaft” is situated in a pollution-free/green zone. Therefore access by car is possible exclusively with an environmental badge. Environmental badges you can obtain at your admission office, at TUEV, DEKRA and in certified car repair companies.
